The paradox of tolerance asserts that if we choose to extend tolerance to those who cling to bigotry then we’ve put ourselves at risk of enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance. in doing so, we’ve undermined the goal of tolerance and used our hands to build systems of intolerance within society
